Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham in The Shoes in Seinfeld season 4. Barone was a chef who was named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member of Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone had also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's husband in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show to pursue her full-time job. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) as well as on The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. Barone was a co-star in Daddio (2000). Her television credits include Desperate Women, Curb Your Exuberance Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was the recipient of the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the The feature film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years since The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone was cast in a regular role in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones who was the husband of Barone's character.
