Robyn Rihanna Fenty, also known as Rihanna is an Barbadian artist and songwriter. She has brought us hits like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in her prime youthful years, she's already sold more than 140 million records and 41 million tracks across the globe, becoming one of the best-selling artists ever. Her parents were born in Barbados and she began singing at a young age. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and conflicting with her parents, she immersed herself in music, and before long realized that she wished to become a professional singer. When she was in high-school, the girl formed a band and auditioned for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was blown away by her talent. Rihanna relocated to New York so that she was able to pursue a full-time singing career. Rihanna rapidly became a household name after her debut release. Rihanna's peppy songs were the favorites among the young, motivating her into film. Talented and young, Rihanna is now regarded as both a teen-idol and a fashion idol.
