Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a pro. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight via TKO in the second-round. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters received her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
