Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Her style is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. Her first review was in late 2009 after becoming popular on their forums. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to join Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She remained member of the channel up until January 2015 after which Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts via her channel that both cover the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. as well as appearing on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax live programs in addition to the occasional adult comedy (including obviously Baywatch (2017)). She started reviewing films in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining recognition on channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. She's appeared in countless Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She has appeared in numerous episodes on Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
