Canadian screen actress who became popular for her portrayal of Bo Dennis on Lost Girl. In 2019 she began starring in CBSs Blood & Treasure. Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born to Peter Silk, an academic of Fredericton New Brunswick Canada and Ilkay Silk, an actor producer director playwright and educator. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first experiences were being a watcher of her mother's work, and attending play rehearsals. Silk played a role as a youngster in a variety of commercials. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work included at minimum two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen.. She was married Seth Cooperman in 2009. Samuel Cooperman, and Levi Levi Cooperman have two sons. In 2009, she was cast as the lead role in Lost Girl. CNN has named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren as Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple among their most cherished TV couples ever. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity on the internet grew as a consequence of the show.
